Endorsements

“One of the projects I helped fund in 2017 was the Intercultural Community Center where I met Claude as a Board Member. I was inspired with Claude’s work through financial education and workforce development with our New Mainers and his service to the community. That’s why I nominated him to represent Westbrook as City Councilor.”
John Bernier, Citizen and Director, Cornelia

“I know what it takes to serve in the public service. Claude has spent 11 years serving low income across the state. He has the skills and he is passionate about the well-being of all low income and priorities he makes a sound decision. I have seen Claude at the State level advocating for issues that matter to our constituency. As our demographic continues to grow in Westbrook, Claude will be a great City Councilor and will bring a great perspective in the decision making.”

LEADERSHIP AND RECOGNITION

Claude has been recognized many times by those he has served in the community, but he does not serve for recognition and praise, but rather to better his community and those around him, so that our residents and their children thereafter will live in economically stable environment, and are able to be self-sustainable for themselves and their families. For instance, Claude Rwaganje received a "Public Sector Award" in 2017 by the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce.
